Dear friends, old and new,

Effective immediately, the "Overseas Industry Talent Training Program" (X Talent) has officially been renamed:

國科會計畫培養之產業新進人才
Taiwan Global Talent Program

Since its founding, this program has been dedicated to helping outstanding young professionals travel to leading overseas companies for a year of hands-on training. This name change reflects our core mission more clearly: cultivating Taiwan's next generation of talent — professionals with a global outlook who can connect seamlessly with international industry.

We hope that during their time abroad, every fellow gains deep, on-the-ground technical experience and builds a strong international network. When they return to Taiwan, we hope they'll bring what they've learned back home — becoming a vital force connecting Taiwan's industries with global trends, and helping drive cross-border collaboration and technology exchange.

A new name, a new beginning. We're grateful to every past fellow and partner who has supported us along the way, and we look forward to continuing to help even more young talent take their place on the world stage!
